Presenting Circles and Assets - A Candela Obscura Supplement

It is my absolute pleasure to present Circles and Assets, an unofficial Candela Obscura supplement to you. 

From the moment it was announced, I knew I was going to love Candela Obscura. It's an amazing premise and a great opportunity for Critical Role fans to see more narrative, fiction-first games in action. From early on in the project, when I found out that Darrington Press was offering a CGL, it was inevitable that I was going to hack this game. What I didn't expect was how much I was going to throw into the project; this is by far the most complete project I've done. 30 pages, laid out and organized to take Candela's incredible aeshetic and also adapt it towards my vision for the game. 

Enough dilly-dallying, though... what is this supplement about? 

• Circle Types let players specialize their circle's area of study and replace the standard circle abilities with new, focused choices
• Assets give investigators new tools (people, places, things) to complete their assignments and build out their Newfaire. 

There are 5 new circle types, each with 6 new circle abilities and 3 pieces of unique circle gear. Each has its own description that explains their role and how their seen within the Order, with some example assignments and NPCs to pull from. There are 20-ish assets, split between connections, equipment, and facilities to give your investigators new ways to engage with their world and create a shared identity with.
